Purple Heart Homes Announces Leadership Expansion to Support Future Growth
After nearly 1,500 completed projects, 17 years of service, and growing into an $11 million nonprofit organization, Purple Heart Homes is taking a significant step forward in its commitment to serving Service-Connected Disabled and Aging Veterans. To strengthen our ability to meet the growing needs of our Veterans and ensure long-term sustainability, we are excited to announce the launch of our search for an Executive Director as an addition to our leadership team.
This Executive Director (ED) will report directly to John D. Gallina, CEO & Co-Founder of Purple Heart Homes. By adding this role, John will be able to focus on strategic partnerships, national advocacy, and high-level priorities, while the Executive Director will concentrate on the day-to-day operations and internal management of the organization.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will continue to lead the vision and strategy of Purple Heart Homes, building key relationships with donors, stakeholders, and government agencies to expand our impact in the Veteran community. This role remains focused outward on financial growth, sustainability, and national awareness.
The Executive Director (ED) will take an inward-facing leadership role, overseeing operations, finance, marketing/development, programs, and customer experience. This position is designed to improve efficiency, address project backlog and wait times, and ensure that our mission is carried out effectively at every level of the organization.
This leadership expansion marks an exciting new chapter for Purple Heart Homes, ensuring we are well-positioned for continued growth, operational excellence, and increased impact in fulfilling our mission of providing safe and accessible housing solutions for Veterans in need.
We look forward to sharing more updates as we move forward with this transition and are grateful to our partners, donors, and supporters who continue to make this work possible.
